OUR VISION

To be the most trusted and credible data base of the indigent persons in Nigeria.

Poverty denies people’s access to social adequate living standards and it encompasses a range of deprivations. The dimensions of poverty cover distinct aspects of human capabilities: Economic (income, livelihoods, decent work) Human (health, education) Political (empowerment, rights, voice) Socio-cultural (status, dignity) Protective (insecurity, risk, vulnerability).

Available statistics show that over 90 million Nigerians are poor and out of this number, over 68.8 per cent are food poor, which mean they are unable to have a basic meal per day. Over 69 per cent of the Nigerian population lives below poverty level of $1.00 a day(NBS).

However, as a result of the recent pandemic crisis globally so many Nigerians have been plunged into extreme poverty thereby causing a spike in crime rate, unemployment, transaction sex workers etc. Despite the intervention of palliatives provided by the government and private sectors, so many poor families did not benefit from it due to poor distribution channel and no credible data to identify these families.

    OUR MISSION

To raise 1 million households out of extreme poverty by 2025
